User Responsibilities
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for legitimate security checking purposes. You must not:
Technical Misuse Prohibited
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to make excessive requests
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with our services or infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Privacy Violations Prohibited
- Check email addresses that do not belong to you without explicit permission
- Perform bulk scanning of email addresses for commercial purposes
- Use our services to harvest, collect, or compile personal information
Legal and Ethical Violations Prohibited

- Use results to harass, threaten, or harm individuals

Account Security
If you create an account through Google OAuth, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Service Availability & Limitations
Service Uptime
While we strive to maintain high service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our services. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that temporarily affect service availability.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Security Guardian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the services, if any, during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect after termination.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Security Guardian operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
